Who We Are

Bridging cultures, one conversation at a time

Our story, our method, and the coaches who teach spoken Jordanian & Palestinian Arabic to students across the world.

Our Background

Our story & mission

Founded in Amman, Jordan, Kitab Center was built on a simple conviction: authentic, real-life spoken Arabic should be within reach of anyone, anywhere. Modern Standard Arabic will not help you order a coffee, share a joke, or sit comfortably at a family table — so we built our whole programme around the Levantine dialect people actually speak.

Our mission is to bridge cultures. We help international students, researchers, professionals and members of Arab families abroad communicate deeply and authentically, not just correctly.

Methodology

Spoken language, not textbook language

Traditional courses hand you grammar charts and literary vocabulary you will never hear in conversation. We teach language the way it is actually used — in context, in relationship, out loud.

Immersive language session

Authentic local dialect

We teach the Jordanian & Palestinian spoken dialect — the most practical spoken variant of Arabic. You learn how people actually speak, joke, bargain and offer hospitality.

Structured immersion

Using the Growing Participator Approach, we guide you through visual cues and active story-building. Fully virtual, entirely live, and measured by how much you speak.

Relationship over repetition

Your coach is a conversation partner, not a lecturer. Progress comes from hours of real, warm, human interaction — the way every fluent speaker got there.
